Our Home Is the Angelic World

Where were we before we came to this world? Solomon wrote concerning this as follows: Proverbs 822-23 & Ecclesiastes 1:10. If we look at the above words written by the same hand through one Spirit, it is clear that Solomon’s words refer not only to himself, but also to all men. And the writer of the book of Psalms wrote as follows: Psalms 90:1-2. All of these verses are textually related to one another. God said to Job, one of the oldest writers of the Old Testamet: Job 38:2-7, 21.

It is certain that Job was somewhere when God laid the earth’s foundation. Job’s soul was already created before the world began. For the Lord said, “Surely you know, for you were already born! You have lived so many years!” and “All the angels [sons of God] shouted for joy.” Some readers may ask, “Who are the sons of God?” They are the holy people of heaven who were in the universe before Adam and Eve sinned, before their spirits put on flesh. This spiritual world is called the angelic world, where the holy people of heaven used to attend the whole assembly of the firstborn (Hebrews 12:23). Job described them as the sons of GOD. The reason the holy people of heaven are called the sons of God is because they are created in God’s own image by His breath of life. The purpose of Jesus’ coming to this earth is to make known to us the Father of our spirits and show Himself to us. As it is written: John 17:3-6.

Whenever Jesus mentioned God to His disciples, He said, “…your heavenly Father…” (Matthew 5:48, Matthew 6:4-6). And He said: “Do not call anyone on earth ‘father,’ for you have one Father, and he is in heaven.” Matthew 23:9.

‘Father’ whom Jesus mentioned above indicates the Father of our spirits, not our biological fathers. So the Apostle Paul wrote to the Hebrews: Hebrews 12:9. Studying this verse, we can see who God’s sons are that ‘shouted for joy at the beginning of the creation’; and we can understand why we call God “our Father in heaven.” In other words, we have our spiritual Father who created our spirits┬áby His breath of life, just as we have our human fathers through whom our bodies are given birth.

Truly, our home, our place of origin is the Kingdom of Heaven, the Angelic World.
